Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Monsoon Inn, we understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. To provide the best service to all our guests and manage our room availability effectively, we have established the following cancellation and refund guidelines.

1. Standard Cancellation Window

  • Individual Reservations: Reservations must be cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled check-in time (3:00 PM local time) on the day of arrival to avoid a penalty.

  • Cancellation Deadline: If a cancellation is made before the 24-hour window, no charges will be incurred, and any prepayments will be fully refunded.

2. Late Cancellations and No-Shows

  • Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within less than 24 hours of the arrival date will result in a charge equivalent to the first night’s room rate plus applicable taxes.

  • No-Show Policy: In the event that a guest does not arrive for their reservation and does not notify the inn, the reservation will be marked as a "No-Show." The credit card on file will be charged for the first night's stay plus tax, and the remainder of the reservation will be cancelled.

3. Non-Refundable Rates

  • If you have booked a "Non-Refundable" or "Advanced Purchase" rate during a promotional period, please note that these bookings are final.

  • Non-refundable reservations cannot be cancelled or modified for a refund, regardless of the notice period provided.

4. Group Bookings & Special Events

  • Reservations involving five (5) or more rooms, or those made for special local events (e.g., graduations, festivals), are subject to a 7-day or 14-day cancellation policy.

  • Specific terms for group stays will be outlined in your individual group contract. Please refer to your booking agreement for exact deadlines.

5. Refund Processing

  • Method of Refund: All eligible refunds will be processed back to the original form of payment used at the time of booking.

  • Processing Time: While Monsoon Inn processes refunds immediately upon cancellation, please allow 5 to 10 business days for the transaction to appear on your bank or credit card statement, depending on your financial institution's policies.

6. Early Departure

  • Guests who choose to check out earlier than their scheduled departure date may be subject to an Early Departure Fee equivalent to one night's room and tax. To avoid this fee, please notify the front desk at least 24 hours prior to your new departure time.

7. Force Majeure

  • In rare cases of extreme weather, natural disasters, or government-mandated travel restrictions affecting the Beaumont, TX area, Monsoon Inn may waive cancellation fees at its sole discretion. Please contact us directly if you believe your travel is impacted by such an event.

To cancel your reservation, please use one of the following methods:

  1. Online: Visit our website and use the "Manage Booking" tool with your confirmation number.

  2. Phone: Call our front desk directly at (409) 892-7722.

  3. Email: Send your cancellation request to monsooninn1295@gmail.com (please allow up to 24 hours for email processing).
